Released in December 1976, the album took its title from Emily Brontë's novel Wuthering Heights , whose last lines listened to the soft wind breathing through the grass and wondered how any one could ever imagine unquiet slumbers for the sleepers in that quiet earth inspired the titles of the seventh and eighth tracks.
