V. EFFORTS UNDER WAY TO IMPROVE TIMELY ISSUANCE

The further development of the CDM registry, required for the issuance of certified emission reductions, is another important topic covered in this report.

The Secretary General regrets to report that, as of the date of issuance of the present report, there have been a further 19 fatalities among staff members belonging to different organizations.
